ABOUT MANTRA
Ginger and David Laurie founded Mantra Hair Salon in Jacksonville Beach in 2009. Backed by Ginger’s more than 25 years of experience as a second-generation hair stylist, David’s extensive corporate and sales background, and their true passion for the beauty industry, Mantra Hair Salon has been creating dynamic results ever since. Growing from a salon with Ginger as the sole stylist on a second floor location above a coffee shop on 3rd Street to its current 18 chair location strategically located next to Target at JTB and A1A where Jacksonville Beach and Ponte Vedra Beach meet.

The slogan, or Mantra, “Live Beautifully,” is a perfect fit for the industry. Mantra’s philosophy is that everyone should live beautifully starting from the inside out. We simply finish with the outer beauty applied with expertise and professionalism by a focused and passionate team whose sole goal is to be the best!

Mantra Hair Salon was created with the idea that the employees will be taken care of by the owners and in turn the employees will take care of the customers. This pay it forward philosophy allows the stylists to succeed while in turn rewarding customers of the knowledge, training, and skill that each stylist provides.

Mantra is dedicated toward creating the most educated and talented stylists in the city, investing tens of thousands of dollars a year making sure the professionals selected to provide your beauty needs are the best in the industry.
